Gymnastics is a sport that requires balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest and abdominal muscle groups. Physical strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and balance are the sports core components however participation in gymnastics activity also develops confidence, creativity & leadership, not to mention a healthy body and mind. It promotes an active, physical lifestyle and develops key motor skills.
At DSD Gymnastics we cover recreational Gymnastics. We try to allow gymnasts to engage in many different areas of Gymnastics. It allows them to explore all the dynamics of Gymnastics in a fun and supportive manner.
