As a leading dance qualifications body and membership association for professional dance teachers, with over 7000 members in over 55 countries, we define standards across the widest variety of dance forms, examine performance for both professionals and non-professionals of all ages, develop the skills and professional practice of our members and promote the love of dance across a dynamic, global community.

 

I.D.T.A.  offers training in Theatre and Ballroom subjects from Ballet to Jazz, Tap to Cheerleading, Latin to Ballroom, Gymnastic Dance to Belly Dancing, Line Dancing to Musical Theatre, Street to Theatre Craft……. And lots lots more!

the IDTA aims to:

Promote knowledge and foster the art of dance in all its forms

Consult, Maintain and Improve teaching standards

Offer a comprehensive range of professional qualifications in all dance genres

Provide and maintain syllabi and technique in all dance genres to train dancers for the profession
